Royal Patronage

We are pleased to share that Buckingham Palace has informed us that His Majesty The King is delighted to accept the Patronage of the Royal Ocean Racing Club, thereby continuing the legacy of Patronage previously held by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Club was granted its Royal Warrant by King George V and continues to uphold its longstanding tradition of excellence in offshore racing. Having the support and patronage of the reigning monarch reflects the commitment and dedication of our members to the sport of sailing. We extend our gratitude to His Majesty King Charles III for accepting this Patronage, and we are honoured by his decision to continue the legacy.
