Please join us to hear from the inspirational students of Greig City Academy about how they have taken the sailing world by storm. Jon Holt, the mastermind teacher behind them, will also be speaking.
Join them as they tell their story, from inner-city Haringey, London to being the first State School to complete the Rolex Fastnet Race (twice!), take on Olympians at the Etchells World Championships, and race the nation’s best sailors at events from the Laser Nationals to Cowes Week. The programme has literally changed their lives, along with the face of sailing. No other school has achieved such depth and breadth of sailing - breaking barriers at every level.
There will be an opportunity to meet the students and find out how you can get involved. The programme still has an urgent need to raise the final funds needed for this year, so any support will be very welcome.
